    Cleaning Techniques

Mopping should be performed after removing general debris.

    1. Install mop cover – See instructions above.
    2. Saturate in disinfectant – Add disinfectant to the designated clean bucket and thoroughly saturate the mop cover.
    3. Wring excess disinfectant – Use the wringer to wring the excess disinfectant from the mop into the designated dirty bucket.
    4. Mop surface – Apply the disinfectant to the surface using overlapping, unidirectional strokes. Begin mopping at the wall opposite the entrance and work towards the entrance door. For walls, mop the ceiling to floor using pull-lift strokes. For floors, mop wall to aisle using a “S” motion or pull-lift strokes. *
    5. Check for contamination – Inspect the mop cover for visible soil. Repeat steps 1-4 if no visible contamination is observed. If there is visible contamination, flip the mop head over and repeat steps 1 through 4. Replace the mop cover once both sides are contaminated.
    6. Perform steps 1-5 until you have completed cleaning your surface.

*These techniques are intended to act as a guide for the Double-Sided Flat Mop System. Always follow your on-site cleaning protocols.

    Disinfection Protocol

For general disinfection using EZ Bleach™: *

    1. Add 7 tablets to 20L of water in the designated clean bucket.
    2. Apply with a mop, cloth, or sprayer.
    3. Keep the surface visibly wet for 10 minutes.
    4. Wipe with deionized water to remove residue.

*See Berkshire’s dilution guide for use as a sporicide.
